On This Day In 2006 Nelly Furtado released Promiscuous, the first single off of her third album Loose. The song became Nelly’s first #1 single, spending six weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, only to be replaced by Fergie’s London Bridge. The music video also reached number one on TRL.
